Smoked salmon appetizer bites are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer perfect for any gathering. They feature slices of rich, smoky salmon paired with fresh ingredients on small pieces of bread.
Cut out small rounds from the white bread slices using a cookie cutter or pastry cutter. You can also use a small glass or cut the bread into squares with a knife.
Add the cream cheese to a piping bag and pipe it on top of the bread. You can also spread it with a knife or teaspoon.
Add the smoked salmon slices on top.
Top with a pinch of flaky salt, lemon zest, and minced fresh chives.
Serve immediately or store loosely covered in the fridge until ready to serve.

Makes about 10-12 canapes.You can prepare these bites a few hours before serving. Arrange everything except for any final garnishes like herbs or lemon zest. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve to maintain freshness.
