Bring color to any room with these Galaxy Watercolor printable wall art. Gaze into the night sky and count the stars. Perfect for any room, from the living room to your kids' rooms.
I started painting watercolors just a couple of years ago and my first ever painting was a night sky. Nowadays I paint all kind of landscapes, abstracts or florals, but my favorite subject to paint is always the night sky.
The main reasons are because it's a fast subject to paint since it doesn't have many details and it always comes out different and beautiful.
I always loved the night sky. I remember spending many nights in my countryside garden with the telescope and with my camera until 1 or 2 am to look at planets, galaxies and constellations. It always fascinated me so much.
So here's a small collection of some of my favorite galaxy inspired paintings that you can easily print and frame to hang in any room of your choice.
If you would like to learn how to paint a galaxy, you can look at my post on How to Paint a Watercolor Galaxy Cat Silhouette.
If instead, you would like to purchase my original watercolor paintings, take a look at my Etsy shop!
Below you can see a photo of the painting and below the link to download the printable version. There are 3 realistic night skies and 4 fantasy versions.
Milky Way
This is one of my absolute favorites and I regret a little bit that I sold it. I love the Milky Way and I could stare at it for hours.
Night Sky Sunset
This is also one of my favorites and that's why it's currently hanging in my hallway so I can look at it every time I come back from work to bring a smile back to my face.
Orion's Nebula
The first time I saw Orion's Nebula through my telescope I almost teared up. It's incredible how these amazing wonders are so far from us but yet we can still see them.
Galaxy Lilies
These lilies are a live portrait from my own lilies in my garden. This hot pink variety is called "Stargazer" so I thought a starry background was ideal.
Galaxy Tree
I don't know how I got the idea for this galaxy tree but I really like how it turned out. A nice mix of fantasy and reality.
Galaxy Cat
This is a second version of my galaxy cat. The original one is hanging in my bedroom and I like it so much that I made a second one.
Galaxy Dog
Not everybody loves cats so to be fair I also made a dog version for all the dog lovers out there.
Let me know in a comment which one is your favorite!
